Service Description

This course will prepare unlicensed individuals to assist with self-administration of medication in facilities governed by Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) and the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). After successful completion, students may provide medication management services in Adult Residential and Day Centers, Group homes/behavioral health facilities, prisons and jail.
