IHM Training utilizes the MAT curriculum approved by Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) to individuals who work in licensed and regulated child day programs in VA and staff who work in private schools accredited by the VA Council for Private Education.
MAT Program Courses - Admission Requirement:
Evidence of current CPR and First Aid Certification is required for admission to ALL MAT Program Part 2 classroom courses

Successfully completing AMAT Part 1 enables you to print your AMAT Part 1 Completion Certificate, which is required for admission to the AMAT Part 2 classroom course. This part 1 completion certificate is valid for 6 months.
